I have to go by every time I come to the lake. They have wonderful gifts for anytime of the year but my favorite is eating lunch from their awesome menu and then hitting up the ice cream!
This is a produce market, gift shop, boutique, ice cream and sandwich shop rolled into one. They have a nice area outside to eat with picnic tables. Way less crowded than Peach Park but the bathrooms are small. Good place to stop when going to the beach.
Food was great! We Highly Recommend the Cuban! We also tried the turkey, bacon spinach with goat cheese and it was very good! I saw reviews on here that said the staff was rude. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful! They were polite and we couldn't ask for any better. We drive this route often between WV and AL, we'll now make this exit (205) a regular stop for fuel and food.
This is my favorite place to stop when I'm heading South down I-65!!! Holy guacamole & peach ice cream :) Good memories of going here with Mr. & Mrs. Carlee :)
Unfriendly. The food was great but the staff was so unfriendly that they bordered on rude. Apparently we greatly inconvenienced them by stopping to spend our money there. Do yourself a favor; keep driving.
