I love Sonic. I could be the spokesperson for Sonic. They have a great food selection and an amazing drink selection. Try a Blackberry Cream Slush on your next visit. It is awesome. If you go between 2-4PM you get a 50% discounts on most drinks. They have discounts at night on certain days but I cannot recall what they are. The service is always fast, the food is great and the carhops are always very friendly.
If I could give less than one star, I would! I went 10 minutes before closing time, and I get it- but just don't take the order if it's such a problem! I ordered a double bacon cheese burger with no lettuce and tomatoes and it even says this on the receipt (which i still have). This burger was cold, NO bacon with EXTRA lettuce and tomato- which didn't even make it on the burger, but everywhere else... almost like I had ordered salad on the side..
Went here with my husband to try the bacon cheddar cheese dogs and so we pre as the bottom and the young lady come a over the speaker asking for our order. We tell her 2 bacon cheddar cheese dogs and she replies "huh" "A hot dog?" we repeat the order again she asks what and asks "A Chicago dog?"... This goes on over and over until finally she gets the order correct. Instead of asking if we could move to another stall to order.
Food is ok when they can make it right. Service sucks, ZERO sense of urgency regardless of the amount of people waiting. Workers are incompetent when asked about food or drinks they should know about.
The fried food here is actually quite good including food like tater tots, onion rings, ect when it is cooked properly. I've just had too many bad incidents here to justify going to this Sonic. I recently went here quite a few times during the "Carhop Classic" special they were having and after having their food a few times I can say that I wouldn't pay full retail price for their entrees. At least 1/2 or 1/3 times I went here they would mess up something with the entree including not steaming the bun on the hot dog or getting cold tater tots. I was getting the chili cheese coney, mostly, after the cheeseburger was inedible on my first time getting it. Something on the cheeseburger tasted like plastic. I'm not sure if it was the lettuce, bun, or condiments. Other times, the drive thru is so slow. If there are more than 2 or 3 cars in the drive thru you are in for a bad time. One time I came through when they weren't busy and literally all of the staff was out back smoking and talking at their cars. Pretty ghetto. Avoid this place and go to other places in town. I've had much better Sonic experiences.
